a note on this place
Indithar
Indithar is a grimdark mystical fantasy universe: one continent, broken three thousand years ago by a working meant to defeat death, bleeding its magic out ever since. Four powers hold what is left. None of them made it.
Indithar is one world told through many doors: the games, the chronicles, and this library. The name draws on a word from classical Arabic poetic tradition, indithār — the state of fading away, of vanishing into time. Poets used it standing at ruins. That is the right way in.
This place grows the way the world does. When a chronicle is finished, a tome will appear on the shelf. When a door opens, you will find it in the Portal Chamber. What is sealed here is sealed on purpose.
The doors that are open
- the green door · it opens Mystvale A browser game set in the Indithar universe.

- the third door Sealed It has not yet opened.
Questions the library is asked
- What is Indithar?
- Indithar is a grimdark mystical fantasy universe — one world told through many doors: two browser games, a chronicle series, and a public library site. The name draws on a word from classical Arabic poetic tradition, indithār, the state of fading away, of vanishing into time. Poets used it standing at ruins.
- What was the Hollowfall?
- The Hollowfall is the day the world broke, and the year every power on the continent still counts from. The ruling kingdom’s final working was meant to defeat death. No full account of that night survives. A wound opened at the heart of the world, and what had been outside began to come through. The kingdom did not see morning.
- Why is Indithar called the bleeding world?
- Because the magic is draining out of it. Since the day the wound opened, the native magic of the world has been leaving through it — thinning year over year, the way heat leaves a body — and something else has been seeping in to take its place. By the eastern archives’ oldest reckoning, the world holds less than a third of what it held before the fall.
- Who are the four powers of Indithar?
- Four powers hold the known world, and none of them made it: The Iron Covenant (the west · humanity), The Luminous Choir (the north · beings of light), The Crimson Pact (the south · what came through), The Hollow Court (the east · the preserved). They agree on nothing except the year they count from.
- Is Indithar a game or a book?
- Both, and neither is the whole of it. Mystvale and Vampire Feast are browser games set in the world. Indithar: Chronicles of a Bleeding World is the novel series — book one is being written, and its first chapter is bound. This library is the public record all three share.
- Where do the Indithar chronicles begin?
- In a fishing village at the western edge of the world, with a funeral and a key that names no lock. “Dwight came to Helmsdal at low tide, seventeen years too late.” Chapter One is published in full.
The world is hand-written. The paintings in these rooms were produced with image-generation tools under the author’s direction.
Your ledger is kept on your own device unless you sign the record. If you sign, the library keeps your name, your letter-address, and what you have found — nothing else, and none of it is given to anyone. Ask at the desk, and it forgets you.
